Why did I start this blog? Don’t I have enough going on in my life?
Today I made an honest-to-goodness, cook-on-the-stove meal. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve done that; and I kind of miss it.
I also really like having a few servings of a lunch or dinner meal all ready to go, with little more than a minute or two of reheating required.
Okay… so just cook some meals every now and again. Why make a whole blog about it?
Well – I’m lazy. (To be fair, I’m actually more indifferent and unambitious than slothful.) If I tell myself, “Stef, how about you cook a little more often?” I know it just won’t get done. Too many other things can come up and pull me away. (Yoga, writing, walking, reading, Facebook…) But. If I commit to someone else that I’m going to cook on a regular basis, well, then I have accountability. I can postpone/procrastinate things that affect just me; but if I’ve made a promise to someone else, I will do what I need to do to fulfill that commitment and keep my word.
And you good people get to benefit from this little contract I just drafted. :)

This is what I meant about Inspiration verses Motivation..about the comment I made to you on your other blog “101 in 1001”. :)
